Oceana
Not a filer, and the distinction matters here. The Amazon plastic packaging resolution was filed by As You Sow and Green Century and presented by As You Sow. Oceana ran the outside campaign for it, publicly calling on Amazon shareholders to vote yes and supplying the underlying evidence through its December 2020 report on the scale of Amazon's plastic problem. The resolution drew 35.5 per cent support. This is a vote-yes campaign on another organization's resolution, not filing, co-filing, proxy voting guidance or an investor coalition.
The Last Beach Cleanup
Shareholder filing carried out by its founder in her own name rather than by the organization. Jan Dell, who has held Kraft Heinz stock for more than twenty years, filed a shareholder proposal at Kraft Heinz for 2024 and again for 2025 asking the board to report on the factual basis for the legitimacy of the recyclable claims made on its plastic packaging, measured against the FTC Green Guides and California law. The organization's site also lists a Mondelez initiative.
